By accessing or using Aavokado ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aavokado Inc.

2. Description of Service

Aavokado is a professional networking platform that connects skilled tradespeople with businesses and job opportunities. Our services include:

  • Professional profile creation and management
  • Job posting and application features
  • Messaging and networking capabilities
  • Business-to-worker connections
  • AI-powered interview preparation tools
  • Portfolio showcase features

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post spam, advertisements, or unsolicited solicitations
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems

5. Content

User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the App ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content in connection with operating and improving the App.

Content Standards

All content must be accurate, professional, and comply with applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable in our sole discretion.

6. Job Postings and Applications

Businesses posting jobs are responsible for the accuracy of job descriptions and compliance with all applicable employment laws. Workers applying for jobs are responsible for the accuracy of their applications, qualifications, and credentials. Aavokado does not guarantee employment or the quality of job listings or applicants.

7. Payments and Fees

Certain features of the App may require payment. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time with reasonable notice to users. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Aavokado Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF USER-PROVIDED INFORMATION OR THE QUALITY OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY USERS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AAVOKADO INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aavokado Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
